When submitting a Current bill, creators must specify the jurisdiction (such as national parliament, county council, or city council) or the bill's author (whether a legislator or another citizen) to provide important context about where the bill is being considered. Voting on Current bills creates a transparent feedback channel that can influence legislation before it's finalized. When a creator makes a Future bill public, other users can suggest edits directly, and all users can vote on the proposal. Voting on Future bills serves an important purpose in the transparent development process, allowing creators to gauge public opinion before potentially pursuing formal submission. This early-stage feedback creates transparency about community sentiments at the conceptual phase, helping refine ideas before they advance toward official consideration.

For Future bills that gain significant community support, we provide an additional service that enhances transparency between platform engagement and formal processes: creating a submission-ready draft document for the bill creator.
